Dear John,

This stanza is from the Bhaja Govindam(Praise the
Lord) by the Advaitic
Saint Adhi Sankara in Sanskrit language. The meaning
is

Satsangatve Nissangatwam- Good Association brings
Dissociation
(from the bad)

Nissangatve nirmohatvam: Dissociation gives you the
power over desires
and you attain the desireless state.

Nirmohatve Nischalatatvam: This desirelessness leads
you to catch hold
of that principle of the stillness inside ( nischala-
is motionless but
this translation is still inadequate)

Nischalatatve Jeeven Mukthi- When you are in that
stillness you are
released while still living.

(first verse)So, you foolish mind , praise the lord!

These are sung by one of our greatest masters and his
followers to
this day sing the full song in chorus. I used these to
show that
this stillness is that perfect state and any thought
is a bondage.
Mind being at the centre of man and the mind being
nothing but the
flow of thoughts is the mother of all the causes in
man. Mentally and
Physically. Hahnemann mentions a higher purpose for
the indwelling vital
principle. What else it can be ? It is surely to
cleanse oneself of thoughts.
The purpose of meditation is just this. Kill thoughts
with a noble thought.
And this noble one being another bondage, you come out
of it also
to earn that release while still living. for some it
is a life's
pursuit. For many it may take many,many lifetimes.

That everyone is a chronic becomes a philosophical
reality considering
the bonding nature of thought (since man accumulate
them from beginning)
and their obstruction to man to achieve his higher
purpose and a
scientific reality considering the varying nature of
health of each
child born. Praful Vijaykar is now talking of a
Genetic
Constitutional Similimum with consideration for only
the innates
'the generals that run thru and thru the man'.

Now to my original question: If thought is morbid, is
speech not?
And the more of it, more morbid you are.
