chemo

Post by marsden43 »

(Not sure if this was sent through my Email as Yahoo returned it so
am sending it online so if a repeat eventually comes up I
apologise!!))

I have a relation who is having chemotherapy for Lymphoma of the
Stomach (Hodgkin's) and wondered if any one has any patent helps for
chemo side effects. I have sent her Audrey Westlakes Remedy (a Bach
Flower mixture in a sea salt base) to stop side effects + Nat Phos
30 for thrush and mouth ulcers and Veratrum 30 for Bowel blockages
just in case. Any advance on these?

Please send any replies to me personally as well as the group as I
am having ISP problems with NTL again and am not receiving mail from
the group as yet from Freeserve which I have been forced to join as
an emergency measure!
Regards
Rochelle

are vomiting a lot

Hi Joy,
What potencies and frequency would you suggest? Cad.S. seems to fit the
case. She is at home now after the first lot of chemo so I want to get
another pack of rx to her before the next lot.

Dear Rochelle,

I have only ever used low potencies, LMs, 6c, 12c and very occasionally 30c
- dry and water. Repeating as and when necessary. You probably need to
experiment a bit depending on the severity of the symptoms. It will be worth
acclimatising yourself with all the common sx of chemo side effects.

Good luck, Joy

Dear Rochelle,

Another option to try might be Traumeel. It is a homotoxicological
combination remedy that has been clinically tested and shown to
significantly help adverse reactions to chemotherapy. It is made by, and
available from, Heel products in Germany. I have used the combination and it
is very effective. It contains: Arnica / Calendula / Chamomilla / Symphytum
/ Millifolium / Belladonna / Bellis Perennis / Hypericum / Echinacea
angustifolia / Echinacea purpurea / Hamamellis / Merc sol / Hepar Sulph /
Aconite, all in low D potencies.

Regards,
George

Thanks to everyone and their advice. This relation lives 300 miles from me and I would rather she saw a local homeopath but I will send some Cadmium. S in case the Audrey Westlakes Bach flower mixture fails to prevent the side effects. Cadmium S certainly appears to fir her symptoms but have no idea about constitution and then I don't treat people relations!! So saying this woman , all her life has given and helped everyone. Her work has been charity work and her extended family etc. Nothing is too much trouble for her. Doesn't this really make you think of Carc.????!!!

In Cere B it is a case of the woman who feels that she must be good to please others as she has a sense of guilt. It is a driving force Also under the influence of another. I know this rx as I had a patient a few years ago who needed it. I don't see Carc. like this.

Dear Nancy,
I did a read of Lac H and it looked all wrong except for the Stomach symptoms. So what do you know that is different from this. Is it a case of polarities?

Rochelle
