Dear Babak:

The following rubric is in RADAR:
MIND - PULLING - hair
ant-c.;1;stj2 ant-met.;1;stj2 bell.;2;k canth.;1;gb dig.;1;ptk2 lac-c.;1;sk lach.;1;gb lil-t.;2;k stram.;1;gb tarent.;1;k tub.;1;gb verat.;1;gb

A subrubric is:
MIND - PULLING - hair - desire to pull - her own hair
ars.;2;ptk1 bell.;2;ptk1 cupr.;2;ptk1 dig.;1;ptk1 germ-met.;1;srj5 lil-t.;1;hr1 med.;1;bg2 med.;1;ptk1 mez.;1;bg2 tarent.;1;bg2 tarent.;1;ptk1 tub.;1;bg2 tub.;1;hr1 xan.;1;ptk1

"Pulling" covers a spectrum from playing with the hair to pulling it out (trichotilomania), so you may want to look at other rubrics that cover self-destructive or self-punishing behaviors. More important is to find out what's driving this. Under what circumstances does the patient do this?

Peace,
Cinnabar
