The owl mystery deepens

Thanks for all the replies. This is what I have learnt so far.

This is a genuine remedy (I think). It is not the joke remedy that Julian
Winston published in Homoeopathy NewZ in April 2001 - that is called Stryx
nebulosa - owl's saliva by none other than Will Taylor. Julian usually
gives us an April's Fool article.

This substance is apparently from some culture along time ago (Indian?)
where they would watch owls feed something to their injured young that they
secreted up on to their beaks? Apparently this was "milked" and fed to
unwell children. It was called milk and was also thought to be from a
gland, but who knows - maybe even a gastric secretion??

The remedy appears on the net in a MM of Milks - Collected Articles with the
name of Uta Santos-Konig. Now searching on her name she is a homoeopathic
Dr associated with Massimo Mangialavori.

So this leads me to thinking this is a real remedy....
