I always advise Spartone or Floradix if you can get either of those products near you. They are natural and the iron is easily absorbed. This is provided that your problem is not that the body is unable to absorb the iron. It is important not to drink tea within 1/2 hour of taking an iron supplement as it stops absorption.

Re the yellow skin. I had a patient with that a coupe of years ago and it was caused by the amount of carrot juice he was consuming daily!!!!
