30 or 200 potency?

Post by Rochelle Marsden »

I have a young woman patient with a lumber back disc injury and in a lot of pain. She can't take anti inflammatories she is asthmatic and everything else drugs her up. Before I took her on I insisted that she saw my osteopath. Before she saw me I had given her Bryonia 6 on the indications. When I saw her she said it worked but not for long. I upped the dose to 30C potency and she saw the osteopath again today who is pleased with the amount of movement she has gained. hen I spoke to her tonight she said that the Bryonia are working and the 30C is lasting about 3 hours. I just wonder if anyone thinks it is worth while in their experience to go to a 200C? I have to say that this is a mechanical injury and therefore I am looking at the bryonia being a palliative measure - but then you never know????

Hi John,
This is one of the reasons I sent her to the osteopath to find out what type of pain it is as Hypericum is the obvious one for lower back injury. Apparently this is a disc problem and unlikely to affect the nerves. The main symptoms of not being able to move is what led me to the Bryonia.

when you say the injury is mechanical, are you meaning that it is not reparable?

I mean not repairable without surgery or manipulation.
