Rubrics - Remedies Copy/Paste RADAR

Post by Bratti »

Hi Tanya,

Hope it is OK to reply here but maybe it will assist someone else too so
here goes!

Place the rubric in a symptom clipboard - then open the clipboard - then
click on the size column of the rubric you want (perhaps there may be other
rubrics in the clipboard already) - this brings you to a new window titled
Remedy Window with all of the remedies from the chosen rubric listed - then
go click on your Tools Bar "Edit" and the option "Copy" is there - it will
copy all of the remedies that appear in that window & then you can paste it
into any other application you choose such as an e-mail or Word, etc.

OK?

bestest, Patti.

Hi Patti,

Thanks so much. This has been a real problem
so you have to copy the rubric and the remedies separately? is that right

Also Tanya... I forgot that if you wanted a quicker method then just go to
the rubric you want in RADAR and then you can click on the toolbar "View"
then click "Remedy List" and it will take you to that same Remedy List
window whereby you can "edit" "copy" "paste" the remedies...

Hope the two options helps you!

Hi
Sorry for the question but maybe you can tell me how can we print
from that window of remedies. I tried to do it and all I got was a
blank paper leaving from my printer. I also tried with a different
printer but the result was always the same: A Blank Paper.
don't you think the Radar is a Stupid program where everything works
in a makes non sense way? It to not talk about the ex-libris program
of the Materia Medica, which I consider not just stupid but even a
really very poor and BAD program.
The version I have is 6.3.17
I really am very disappointed about this program. I have it at long
time but I almost never use it for the stupid way it is built.
Sorry for this message, but it is what I feel about the Radar
program.
Thank you very much,
Dinis

Maybe you should contact a dealer for a free demo of a NEWER version of
the program!

The software you are complaining about is ... what, 4 or 5 years old?
In the computer & software industry even 2 years is considered old.

One of the things I like best about Radar & EH is that the company is
constantly improving the software. There have been 3 or 4 free upgrades
released in the last 18 months or so; a couple of them fairly major
improvements in various areas.

To solve your printing question with the old software, you would simply
copy & paste into a Word or WordPad or any other text editor, then
print.

Thanks for your reply.
I really have the program at 2 years ago. But I don't think that a
so expensive program, may have the right to be so BAD.
What nobody seems to be able to see is that all program is really
poorly structured and that almost everything works in a "Makes no
sense" way in relation to all windows based software.
For the price they had the obligation to make a really good program,
not the one they did.
I am considering not to upgrade just because certainly must have
other programs much better than the Radar and for much less money.
For me, I thing that the Dr. Schroyens and his team are thinking too
much in money, missing their most important obligation that is to
make a really good homeopathic software.

For me, I am about to move to another program. No more RADAR's in my
life. I hope so, at least...
My best wishes and thank you again.

Hi Dinis,

I think Dave said the upgrades have been *free*. Wouldn't it make sense to
check this out, before chucking the program?

Free???

Can you believe that people gives anything for free?
ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah

No. They want money and more money even if the program is not
working properly. They just really think in taking more money.
They ask me for about 800.00 Euros (I'm living in europe now) It is
almost 800.00 US Dollars, to upgrade to version 8.

I think the version 7 was supposed to work properly even if with
less resources in remedies, symptoms and of course materia medica.
But it doesn't work and will never work properly. It is really a BAD
program made by people who just think in money without caring about
the quality of the material they are selling.
My best wishes

hmm... having been in the computer field for 15yrs, I've found that a
huge majority of the problems that people have with computers and
software are problems between the ears ;^)

With computer problems &/or operating system software problems &/or
application software problems (or any combination thereof!) sometimes it
is not so easy to pinpoint the problem to a particular area .. as with
many things in life.. there are very few problems that can't be solved
by a little determined effort & attention to details... of course, a
tendency to run from or turn one's back on the problem & become bitter,
or to blame others & categorize them as bad people because of one's
problems.. solves nothing, and may merely mask the original problem
under another... and may in fact be a contributing factor to what
appears to be the overt problem.

If you would like to make your version 6 program work (thanks to
microsoft's relentless planned obsolescence program), you would need to
have an equally old operating system .. and visit the wwww.archibel.com
website for technical support. I am 100% confident that their
techsupport team are willing & capable of assisting anyone who is
willing to proceed with stepwise troubleshooting in making their Radar
software function in a given installation.

versions of Windows up to Windows XP.
