London Sunday Observer has ran an article yesterday stating that a number of
young diabetics are going blind, but did not relate this to aspartame (the
sweetener in diet Coke etc).
However, from my own experience and that reported from a hospital in India,
Aspartame increases the chance of blindness and its withdrawal will in a
number of case allow the sight to recover.
