As my special interest is on such aspects of Homoeopathic repertories
let me try to explain this rubric of yours.
In Complete Repertory:
GENERALITIES; METAMORPHOSIS of tissue, to prevent, during disease or too
long mental or physical exertion: bapt1.
I think this is taken from Hale's Special symptomatology of the new
remedies, under baptisia he writes "It prevents too rapid metamorphosis
of tissues during illnesses, or from too long sustained mental and
physical exertions." It just means that Baptisia will help from the loss
or degeneration of tissues in such cases.
