As this topic turned out to be almost exclusively off-topic, I had in mind =
to answer privately. But as there were so many people answering, I decided t=
o make my final statement on-list.
I live in central Europe where circumcision (apart from medical indications=
) doesn´t have any tradition (except among Jews and maybe immigrants). (Nev=
ertheless there is SIDS, by the way.)
To make this a bit more on-topic again: I became very aware of the fact th=
at my feelings against circumcision stem from my own feeling of physical vul=
nerability . (even perforation of the ears for earrings seems a cruel thing =
to me)
