Andy, I applaud your reflection of being in fact the unprejudiced observer and remaining open to all sorts of diagnostic methods. You demonstrate an ability to differentiate diagnostic methods from principle, and assert that you acquire a state of homeostasis more readily. A realisation of principle.

There is a proliferation of medical 'toys' which measure varied parameters. A lot of bells and whistles which impress patients. Some systems are software based and generate an indicated remedy or remedies....homeopathic, herbal,......

My experience tells me that all too many colleagues rely on this equipment to guide them toward a Tx plan. Further, that it doesn't work when employed in this manner. What I observe is that there is no substitute for a good Dx. In fact a good Dx in advance of using bells and whistles results in a more refined Tx plan faster.

What is also eminently clear is the level of resistance to change, or the introduction of ideas that don't quite match what is expected. Remember Galileo. It was the unprejudiced observer that found his ideas to have merit, and we are the beneficiaries.
