Ringworm

Post by Shannon Nelson »

I've just been reading Burnett's booklet on Ringworm. He mentions use of
Sepia, Tellurium and sulphur, then relates some impressive-sounding cures by
Baccilinum, and continues, "since then I have systematically subjected
almost all my ringworm cases to the influence of Bacillinum in high potency
and infrequently administered."

Does anyone have experience they can share with treating ringworm, using any
of these remedies, or others? (I realize that it has a constitutional base
and should be treated constitutionally; but Burnett seems to be saying that
Bac *is* usually the best constitutional treatment for a person with
ringworm. Wondering what experiences others have had.)

Thanks!
Shannon

I've had many cases of ringworm and tried a few remedies. I have had
success with Bacillinum, Sulphur, Tellurium and Sepia in high potencey.
Bacillinum has been particularly beneficial for head-infected ringworm. I
have also used Psorinum as an intercurrent.

On a side note, I have also had excellent success with a non-homeopathic
treatment. We have been giving 'Acidobifidus' 3x daily. Once the right
intestinal flora is achieved, the ringworm disappears.

Hi Michele,

It might be worth your while to read up on bowel nosodes.
If you don't have reading material at hand, see

Dear Shannon,

Unlike his other books, Burnette is awfully right here...Bac for ringworm
disease. in any patient having this "disease" one can find history of
respiratory ailment in the family, if not exactly Tuberculosis. I have
benefited with the infrequent use of Bac-200 to 10m, and in between giving
Sulphur-1M to 10M, once a fortnight, both the remedies...rather both the
medicines and not the remedies. Only a few times, I had to give Bac in 10M.
I know what I do is not Homoeopathy, but I tend to use the nosodes with
reference to the diseases and not symptomatically, they cut down the course
of disease, but honestly, one can get more brilliant results if employed
homoeopathically. I won't talk much on this as I lack this in me....after
all there are many who do not do like me :):)!! Their turn to
share...smile!!! Never used Tell., didn't have to, neither Sepia. Again, in
this land, T.B. and asthma and respiratory problems are so common. Besides,
in infant diarrhea in specifically, those children who are fed with
bottles, single dose of Bac-200 is a magic. Take care.

Sincerely,
Zaidee
