Important questions, please answer

Post by Dr. Joe Rozencwajg, NMD »

Dear colleague,

Like most of the members of the list, I have enjoyed the exchange of
ideas and the dynamics of discussion.
Unfortunately, some members have lately been bullied around by someone
who has made a reputation for doing that on another list too.
You do not seem to be participating in the discussions and I wonder if
you read the emails or just provide us a space to express ourselves. But
as the list owner, it is eventually your responsibility to fix the
rules.
So I would like to ask a few questions:

- is this list a PURELY classical list or are you accepting discussions
about other aspects of homeopathy, even if some members do not consider
those aspects as related?

- if you have fixed some boundaries about subjects to be discussed,
would you please remind us of them?

- have you, or have you not, appointed Dave Hartley, or someone else, as
the "White Knight of Classical Homeopathy" and charged him with the task
of censoring and hunting down whoever strays from orthodoxy?

- if yes, I, and others probably, would appreciate to know about it

- if no, would you please inform "Mr. Clean" to cease and desist
attacking whoever he disagrees with. Expressing a strong opinion is of
course very much welcome, criticising and insulting members of this list
seems to me totally unacceptable.

I hope that you will find the time to address your responsibility as
list owner and answer those questions. I am sending them to you
privately as well as through the list because I doubt you are reading
the list messages. Please answer to the list directly.

Many thanks.

The only person who has perpetated an ad-hominem "attack" (this below
perhaps comes close) is Isali.
I have called no one names (as he has), and in spite of untruth posted by
Isali, have not heretofore questioned his integrity, only his relentless
off-topic postings.

It is interesting that you see fit to characterize me requests to post
ON-TOPIC as "bullying" and in general to try to paint a negative PERSONAL
image.

I don't give a rat's ass what you think of me personally, or really even of
what you post about what you think of me personally.

I do definitely note a self-serviing two-faced-ness apparent in the
ad-hominem nature of your appeal and some other's comments.

Please try to stick to the topic. The topic is homeopathy.
It is not who thinks Dave Hartley is "a bully"

Dave Hartley would love nothing more than to not feel pushed by incredibly
persistent off-topic posting into making a damned campaign out of asking for
simple respect for the topic.

Would you like to propose a definition of homeopathy for the purposes of
what is topical?
Do so. (although it is already well defined are reasonably universally
understood.)

It is certainly not my intention to define what is topical in homeopathy
in this list as I am not the list owner.

We have something in common though, we do not give a rat's ass about
each other, and that is fine with me. So I will not even try to answer
your comments, and write only about homeopathy, whatever you or someone
else thinks it is. I have wasted enough time reading your non
informative posts.
