Help please - acute ear!!

Can anyone help on the following

15 yr old girl, left ear discharging watery liquid which is slightly murky
with a purulent smell. She gets a cracking sensation when she moves or
walks. Gets a pulsation when she moves her jaw. The earache has been
extending to the jaw today after taking the Merc S. 30 I gave her yesterday.
Her right ear feels itchy and hurting as if that one is starting. < eating
(moving the jaw) < lying down. She thinks the liquid may be thickening up.
She has taken about 4 Merc S. today.

I repped this yesterday taking
Otitis media infection, meddle ear , chronic discharge
Ears discharge from
Pain left ear
Discharge thin

She got Merc because she said she had dribbled twice the day before. She
hasn't today. I said I would leave something on the doorstep for her to pick
up on the way to school in the morning. I am between Sil and Hepar!!

Just realised that Merc has pain extends to jaw so this symptom could be
because she has taken too much Merc!!!
(Since I have still not received my original mail to my inbox I wonder if
this will arrive first!!)

Hi Rochelle,

How intense is the pain; is there any fever, headache; Just a note, my
Vermuelen Materia Medica says Merc Sol and Silica are Incompatible, and
"they should never be given immediately before or after each other". Did
the symptoms start suddenly or after doing something, or being sick with a
cold, for example?? Frustrating isn't it, when you just want to get them out
of pain as quickly as possible.

Apart from merc you can think of Verbascum and tellurium. Verbascum would have more pain, Tellurium more offensiveness.

If the problem has been persisting for some time now then you can think of graph. and Psor. also.

Hepar earaches are very paiful putting hand on the ear.
Do not think of Sil as it is inimical to Merc.
