LEADING SYMPTOMs

M Anxiety at night, as if paralysed; cannot call or move. & Heat of head. [mezger] M Fear of heights.

Dreams of falling.

M Difficult concentration on account of stitching pain in temples or tinnitus [as

from flowing water].

MSensation as if distances are enlarged [objects seem twice as far away; voices seem distant].

M Biphasic mental condition: first period of excitation and overactivity, followed by period of dullness and lassitude. [Compare sleep pattern.]

GChilliness, but heat of head. GDiminished appetite. GSleep.

Deep, long sleep but unrefreshing.

Or: Remarkably little need for sleep; the later he goes to bed and the less he sleeps, the fresher he feels in the morning when he awakes. [Mezger]
