carc vs pul

Post by birilihd »

I am a homeopathic student. Through my clinic I have a 3 yr old
female patient whom I believe should be given Carc however, the
primary felt Pul was better.

I am aware that many of the symptoms of Pul is found in Carc. I do
not have access to a Homeopathic Computer Program and hence do not
have the resources to truly distinguish between these two.

These are the rubrics I have used for the child as well as
personality traits:
MIND; AFFECTION; children craving for
MIND; AFFECTIONATE
MIND; DESIRES; attended, to be
MIND; DESIRES; captivating others
MIND; SENSITIVE, oversensitive
MIND; SENSITIVE, oversensitive, children
MIND; WEEPING, tearful mood; tendency to
GENERALITIES; FOOD and drink; sweets, desires
GENERALITIES; WALK; late learning to
MOUTH; FINGERS in the mouth, children put
STOMACH; THIRIST; large quantities, for

Mother described her as a "perfect baby".
Very sensitive in nature, sensitive to reprimand.
History of controlling parents.
Loves her sister very much, cuddling in office.
Craving attention, extremely affectionate, likes to be cuddled.
She does a squatting move, whereby she sits on her heel and tenses
her body.
She likes change.
As well, during pregnancy the mother was under a great deal of
stress.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Does this child have any ear or catarrh problems as from what you write I
would go with Carc.!! However you have to bow to experience - your primary
may have seen something you did not realise was important. A thirsty child
is not usually Puls.

This sounds more like Phosphorous to me - this kind of thirst usually
contra-indicates Pulsatilla and I cannot understand how you see Carcinosin -
perhaps you would elaborate.

No she does not. With regard to thrist, this is
interesting because this child drinks a lot of water.
She is continually asking for it. She would be
drinking a lot more if her mother didn't keep watch.
At present, it's about 1.5lts.
