A remedy used mainly in rheumatic conditions, even in quite advanced cases. We have few indications for its use, but the modalities of the remedy fall in between those of Rhus Toxicodendron and Bryonia. Has marked pain from slight motion like Bryonia and yet may be better from continued motion. The patient is averse to being touched or examined. When Bryonia fails in a rheumatic case we can consider this remedy. The pains may migrate as in Berberis or Pulsatilla.
