Margery Blackie mentions Squid as one of the sea remedies, like Sepia. I
cannot find Squid in my materia medicas nor do I have any info on other sea
remedies. Can anyone give me references or any experiences with their use?
thank you, Paula

Re: sea remedies
Hi Paula
Debra Collins gave an interesting presentation of sea remedies with a few
cases at the NZ Council of Homoeopathy AGM in Napier earlier this year.
Remedies included Aqua marina (fishbowl "someone could be watching"),
Spongia tosta, Coralum rubrum, Medusa, Homarus (Lobster), Limulus, Squila
maritima (readiness to absorb water, dropsy, could eat onions like apples),
Asterias rubens.
Common indicators for sea remedies:
relating to sea/water
++ -- by sea, in sea
sea sickness
vesicular complaints
"mother" nurturing
milk, lactation (spongia-inability to produce milk after birth, medusa-over
or underproduction of milk, lobster-allergy to milk)
It was suggested at that time that her presentation be written up - so I
will endeavour to find out and report back to the list as to whether it
would be available.
Regards
