Rubric explaination

What does Extremities, Swelling, general, white joints, mean from the
Complete Rep? Is it a typo mistake in my computer rep. What are "white"
joints.

Hi Rochelle
White Swelling is a term used in the past (and maybe now) to describe a
condition known as Hydrarthrosis - an effusion of fluid into a joint,
usually the result ofchronic synovitis and also called Hydrops articuli,
dropsy of the joint.

So could it be used for a fluid filled arthritic swelling of the joints?

Causticum, Ledum and Sulph come up for this rubric and for general
inflammation of the joint, so if one of these is indicated I guess so!

Unfortunately, the version of Synthesis that I have only lists Puls in
inflammation of the joint and not in dropsy of the joint
