Hi Rochelle
White Swelling is a term used in the past (and maybe now) to describe a
condition known as Hydrarthrosis - an effusion of fluid into a joint,
usually the result ofchronic synovitis and also called Hydrops articuli,
dropsy of the joint.

Causticum, Ledum and Sulph come up for this rubric and for general
inflammation of the joint, so if one of these is indicated I guess so!

Unfortunately, the version of Synthesis that I have only lists Puls in
inflammation of the joint and not in dropsy of the joint
