Here is where my practice differes from everyone elses.
I never "try" a remedy!!!!
Homeopathic remedys NEVER stop working!
They are like little computer chips, in the persons that need them working
miracles and in the persons that do not, working mischeif!
If your person took all those remedies, you need to get a list of all of
them, then look up all her symptoms and compare them with all the symptoms
from all the remedies she has taken.
If any fit, she is PROVING those remedies and those must be ANTIDOTED.
When she is celar, reasses her, and you will probably find you have made a
miraculous "cure" of her problems.
The idea that you "try" this one or that one and if they have a reaction to
one, going on and "trying" another is appalling to me, and damaging to the
patient.
I cannot believe that all modern Homeopaths today have forgotten how
Homeopathics work.
They either CURE or PROVE.
They DO work!!! Everytime!
That is a simple premis that anyone can understand but it doesn''t seem to
be computing with everyone here.
I had a pair of autistic adults (35 each) that were defecating all over the
place, pouring salt down their throats at every chance, violent, biting
others, and having to be restrained, also unable to sleep at ALL.
The very FIRST thing I did was to access what reemedies they had been given
ever.
Lyssinum in LM potencies, Hyoscamus, and numerous other heavy duty remedies
had been given when they had had NO symptoms except mild atuism, and now
with this behaviour, they couldn't figure out why.
I simply antidoted them of every remedy they had taken to start clean, and
ALL their symptoms were gone within a week.
Sulphur is not an antidote. Sulphur is a polycrest and can cause mischief on
its own.
What you want to do is ANTIDOTE everything she has taken to see who she
really is.
Right now she is the sum total of all those remedies.

I have to say I have been looking at Nitric Acid for her but again can I
give this remedy to someone who is a hot person not very chilly like Nitric
acid.
Don't go there re other remedies!!! When I first saw her she had been taking
8 various remedies in various potencies 3 times a day for 5 years which she
had found from her own research!! The first thing I did was to tell her to
lay off the lot for 2 months and come back after which I gave her a Sulphur
200!!! She may be what Vilthoulkas calls "incurable" although I hate that
word. As far as I recall she has not taken either of these remedies and Calc
she is not!!

Thank you so much for this! I have printed it out to save forever. I am a relative "newbie" to homeopathy but I have wondered about this everytime I see where multiple remedies have been "tried".

While I agree that a remedy always does something whether perceived or not,
I don't understand how we can say it never stops working. The remedy action
is short lived and then the VF reacts to that remedy. The curative action is
the action of the VF. If remedies lasted forever, those who participate in
multiple provings, such as Hahnemann himself, would have been sicker after
each proving and this is not the case. It is possible, IMO, that the
REACTION to a remedy can last a long time if the individual is sensitive to
it and has an impressionable constitution. I can't see trying to antidote
every remedy a person has ever had. That would entail putting dozens of more
remedies into the picture.

Just some food for thought.

symptoms were gone within a week do I take you prescribed more than one
antidote at a time or did you find one that covered all the remedies that

Everyone of my patient's other physical symptoms + her M & E symptoms have
improved greatly so I must have been doing something right. We are really
left with a symptom on the skin which is one that will do least harm
although it is disfiguring.

Each remedy I have given to her has been carefully thought out according to
the top symptoms presented at the time. I am now stuck if you like, which is
the reason why I asked for help.
BTW I believe rightly or wrongly that when a remedy is given that is
completely off the mark -nothing will happen unless it is taken continually
which is what she was originally doing. I have prescribed one remedy , at a
time and one dose or maybe a split night, morning, night dose. If it was the
wrong remedy I do not believe it will have acted the way you state.
