homeopathic research

Post by twhite7101 »

Does anyone have any 'links' or information sources on homeopathic research?
Provings of course are research. There is the usual research done comparing
homeopathic remedies with an allopathic treatment for specific conditions
(rhinitis, etc). There are the more 'high' science type research on
ultrahigh dilution's, and there are the biological science research on
homeopathic remedies say on 'mouse peritoneal macrophages' and influencing
'immune modulation,' , etc.

While Homeopathy has its own internally consistent philosophy, almost all
research, apart from that of Provings, is research done according to the
paradigms that are not homeopathic. Has anyone run across any such research
that is done in accordance with homeopathic principles? Or do we simply call
it the medicine of experience?

Any comments, or sources, would be most welcome.

The major problem here is that most of the "so-called" .. "scientific" ...
"research"
(ptah! .. spits in dirt)

Is very unscientific preordained-result going-thru-motions, "studies"
designed specifically to show that homeopathy is "unscientific" or "doesn't
work" .. stuff paid for and conducted according to the implicit wishes of
the pharmaceutical industry and tentacles.

You might want to investigate homeopathic hospital related and government
related sources in India, or anywhere else that the long reach of mega$
pharmaceutical industry is properly diluted.

Possibly some material here might get you started

Dear twhite,
There is an enormous amount of homeopathic research, the earlier provings
being conducted within the homeopathic paradigm and being the forerunner for
the orthodox one (i.e. the use of placebo).

There are modern studies published in both homeopathic, CAM and mainstream
journals. Many, if not most, of these are conducted within the homeopathic
paradigm (individualisation of the prescription).

Medline is a good starting point (available free on the Internet)
