Here are two links that describe the antiviral and antimicrobial benefits of licorice root used in TCM and now used more widely in the USA and other countries. Perhaps another good supplement to have on hand especially if EO Oregano is hard to find at this time.

Careful if you have blood pressure issues: one single drop of the tincture shoots my BP sky high (for me) with extreme headaches, even though it is absolutely normal otherwise.

It's likely selected only for those it's appropriate for, as TC is also individualized to some degree.
