OT Canine with tumor under tongue

Post by minefalls »

Hello everyone,
My apologies for writing to the group about this issue, but I honestly don't know where else I could get advice for this issue. My daughter has a 13 yr old Lab who was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor under his tongue. It is growing rapidly. She said it bleeds at touch and he has increase salvation. He still has a good appetite. The vet cannot biopsy it because he has lung issues, and his liver enzymes are high. Is there any hope for this boy?

Thanks,

Louise

Hi Louise,
Here is a link to a DVM who specializes in homeopathic care for animals with cancer. He offers a phone consultation to discuss taking the case and prognosis for treatment -- so phone and email consults are possible. I have not used his services, however, I've read many excellent reviews about him and would consider a consult should I ever have the need.
There are numerous articles on his website that also may be of help. Deb L.

Hi Deb,
Many thanks for the link, I will pass this on to my daughter.

BTW, I read this on CATWELL - thank you for responding to both!

For anyone here who might be interested, and if you are also a member at Catwell, a member there wrote yesterday to say that she has requested several consults with Dr. Loops and was very positive about him --one cat in particular has had an excellent recovery. Deb L.
