This years flu?

Does anyone have a handle on this years flu? No is high for cases and what I am seeing is a typical. Sx change quickly, within hours.
Starts with sinus issues. Mucus dripping down throat plus a mildly sore throat. (Bell if raw), then very dry (Spongea). Sometimes painful and croupy( hepar). The mucus thickens(Kali bic) snd is yellow green and lobby.
Weakness, anorexia, sleeplessness feels like they are dying.
Low fevers usually. Feels feverish and freezing which alternated with heat, kicking off covers and sweating.
Looks like Gels also - patient can be exhausted, but can not sleep and drags around, looks yellowish and cramping abdominal pains, some diarrhea, with nausea and reaching. Not much vomiting, and the cramps.
This just hangs on and on. Lasting for weeks to a month. Usu > mornings so they go to work, not bad enough to stay home the first week or two, by evenings sx creep back in.
Been telling my patients to follow the symptoms, but having issues with banishing it completely, have been recommending rest and staying home from work.
Of course the holidays and sugary foods , long hours and lots of company were no help.
Suggestions?
