rubric for a tremor or shaking of hand

Post by Pauline Ashford »

Hi Patient has a ‘shaking’ (his words in his hand) but is the opposite of an intention tremor – it can disappear when he focuses on the hand or thinks about it. Does anyone have any rubrics to help with this – He cant give me any other symptoms

Hes OK emotionally, no other physical problems – eats really well vegetarian – meditates often – is pretty in tune with himself so think he would be aware if there was anything else there.
Has had some big experiences in the past with injustice and a wrongful incarceration for quite a number of years before he was freed. But has done a lot of work on this
– Remedies I have tried
Sulphur – helped a little in beginning but didn’t continue to help

Plumbum – no better

Staphisagria (thought it might help if there was any further suppression of anger re the incarceration injustice etc) helped for a while but then no further improvement either with more frequent doses or another potency
Next one on my list is Opium??
Any thoughts from anyone else

Thanks in advance

Regards Pauline

Have you looked at Agaricus? Major control issues there. If you combine the rubrics MIND, concentration, active and MIND, thinking, complaints of, amel., you’ll come up with some others. The lack of other symptoms also makes me think of Agaricus, especially if you get the feeling that the patient’s not leveling with you. Not that he’s lying, but that he’s concealing (or is himself unaware).

Peace,
Dale

I wonder if the picture could be filled out by talking with a family member or a friend, of course with his permission. Do you think he might be willing?
