Dear Mr Tredinnick,
I am writing to express my gratitude to you for your continuing support of Homeopathic Medicine. It is much appreciated, and I know that many of my colleagues feel the same way. Your name has been mentioned in the homeopathic community over the past 2 weeks.
It was so good of you to take the time to support vets, homeopaths, animal owners and members of the public on our march to the RCVS on 16th April 2018, to protest against the unreasonable and unfounded unilateral decision by the RCVS to effectively ban homeopathy and other CAM from Veterinary practice.
At a time when we see a worrying increase in antibiotic resistance, to quote just one example of the crisis that we have with drug resistance/side-effects, and even ineffectiveness (when was the last time you heard someone's asthma was cured) in this country, alongside the increasing public demand for organic produce and the EU guidelines:

Art. 24 (2) and (3) Commission Regulation (EC) No. 889/2009 on organic products, which states that: "phytotherapeutic, homeopathic products, trace elements … shall be used in preference to chemically synthesized allopathic veterinary treatment or antibiotics”

it is baffling that the RCVS is taking such a narrow-minded, uninformed and biased position. One can only wonder who is influencing therm behind the scenes.
There appears to be a malignant movement of a small number of people who are hell-bent on seeing the demise of homeopathy in this country. The ill-informed, ignorant, biased reporting in the national and regional media only serve to alarm those who know little about this 200 year old modality of medicine; instead they could be encouraging healthy inquiring debate, exploring the issues with the public, evaluating the increasing amount of research that supports homeopathic medicine, and giving people the freedom to exercise choices in their health care.
