unconscious racism affect health of minorities

Harvard Professor David Williams gave a talk on NPR a few days ago…though I
think it was repeat from October…that the health of black people is
adversely affected by the stress of discrimination…and to what he refers to
in the health field as unconscious unthinking discrimination. This happens
even with all factors being equal. He has been studying this for most of his
life.
