I really appreciate hearing some suggestion of how to treat my condition.
I have had IBS mostly with constipation for many, many years.
Have been controlling it fairly well with Plumbum, Causticum, Graphitis, sometimes Alumina, Natrum Mur and sometimes, if I have eaten goat yogurt or any cheese, I will need Staphysagria and Colocynthis to relieve colon spasms. If I am overly anxious, I take Argentum Nit. Usually use all 30c potency.
I usually do fairly well with eating some lime or limeade, as it helps me prevent liver congestion and also helps elimination. However, last month I got too over-acid from taking too much lime and I developed a bleeding stomach ulcer. Was in the hospital for 5 days. They did an upper endoscopy and installed some clips in stomach to stop the bleeding. That worked.
They also prescribed Pantoprazole Sodium Ec 40mg (protean pump inhibitor), which I have been taking - reluctantly.
Tissue sample recently processed showed Heliocobacter Pylori infection.
I see indications on some sites, that H Pylori is commonly one of the bacteria that almost everyone has in the gut. However, in case of ulcer, which it causes, it is recommended that it be treated.
The method of treatment is to use 2 antibiotics and antacid.
I have not hardly taken any drugs in 40 years and don't like to start now.
I've been taking some probiotics, JarroDophilis Ultra 50 Billion and Progressive Labs Probiotic MPF which also has 10m Duodenal Substance. These have always been helpful.
The symptoms I am having seem to be fullness and bloating after elimination and then I have a sinking in the stomach and do not feel like eating. For 30 years, I have been using a prescribed B-12 injection weekly or I will almost stop eating completely. That has been helpful for a long time, but lately I think I
had developed the ulcer and especially since the bleeding incident, the B-12 injection which I give myself, is not helping as much.
Specifically, I seem to have symptoms of liver congestion w/some constipation, bloated abdomen, and extreme dryness in the nose. The nose is dry, but walking in open air causes it to run - repertory indicates Berberis Vulgaris.
And the constipation seems to be relieved by the complement to Berb V, Magnesia Muriatica 30c.
Sepia and Natrum Muriaticum also follow Mag Mur very well and seems to be helpful.
I am thinking that I may be dealing with SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth) and that is causing the IBS.
I would appreciate any help.

Thanks, Leilanae.
Ya, I guess I should see competent help. In law, they say anyone who is his own lawyer has a fool for a client. Probably same applies.
To the above conditions I was thinking I should add something, so I'll add it here. Maybe this is why my case is quite complicated.
Several years ago I had hernia surgery with the mesh installed, then a couple years later it failed allowing another hernia in the same area - Inguinal.
So the doctor repeated the surgery, I guess with a little larger mesh.
I don't see how anyone could recover from the mesh surgery without Homeopathics.
The mesh is known for causing bladder, urinary and I think intestinal and prostate irritation - and some people have great pain, pains down the leg, etc. that goes on forever. Some people have had to have the mesh removed due to such intractable pains.
For the surgeries including some dental implants, I used Arnica, Staphysagria for extreme pain, and Hypericum for nerve pain. Did not take any other pain meds, other than what was given during the surgeries.
Dealing with the mesh pain, however, required extreme measures, Chimapilla, Cantharis, Staphysagria, Rhus Tox, Thuja, China, were at various times needed. I know that this is not the way Homeopathy is supposed to be used in the classical sense. But I've still got the mesh and I am not usually in pain from it. I like that result.
Wasn't feeling real good earlier today, so I went for a long walk, more than 2 miles - sometimes I take my remedy in a water bottle, while I walk. Felt so much better and ate well.

Re: Stomach Ulcer treatment
You have a problem that will continue as long as you have the mesh there. You would still treat it constitutionally. That is, take your whole case.

Re: Stomach Ulcer treatment
Ya, Ellen, I have a very good mike and a recording studio box - but haven't had time to figure out how to use this stuff, yet.
I do have a video where I am singing and playing harmonica on youtube:
"Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain - Chuck Solomon"
I dont mind being on camera, but not necessary.
So, sure I could make the recording using the mike my cmpr, I think.
I am somewhat surprised at how well i am recovering.
But think I should take Lielanae's suggestion of having a homeopath take the case now.
The dr has given a script for antibiotics, that is the usual treatment,
but I haven't started it yet and don't really want to.
Almost everyone has H. Pylori - just mine got out of control from too much lime...
I have so many tricks that I think is already starting to control it well - a citrus seed combo (Agrisept-L)
+ several others and foods, too.

Re: Stomach Ulcer treatment
Hi Chuck,
You have such a good attitude, it’s going to be easy to work with you. People like you heal more easily also. Furthermore, you will give other people who watch you the vibe that they need to heal.
I’m the kind of person who doesn’t figure out how to use this technology if I don’t have a purpose. You and I both have a purpose now, so you and I will figure out how to use the technology. If you need me to test it out, let me know. I often use zoom to communicate live. I haven’t quite figured out how to video record it, but the instructions are online and I think I could do it. So we’re sort of in the same place, bumbling around with technology.
Monday and Saturday in Japan are my big free days. Timing depends on where you are on the globe. So tell me that and we can go into more detail.
I hesitate to put your face online, even if you’re willing, basically because I don’t want other people to feel that they have to do the same thing. But maybe we can do it selectively. Use the video recording for the introduction when I explain what we’re doing and say you don’t have to be live with video. Then, use the recording where it seems useful for understanding your case. Of course leave out anything that is sensitive in anyway. Even if you were not personally embarrassed etc. other people will be afraid of being exposed which is not a good feeling I’m sure.
Homeopaths in general are very particular about hiding the identity of their patients. So what I’m proposing to do is taboo among some people. But I’m always on the edge and I’m rarely popular, so it’s just the way my life is. I think if were careful and thoughtful we will be OK.
By the way, are you interested in the technicalities of how to repertorize and how to analyze the case? It’s a very deep subject, but if you even just skim the surface, you’ll be able to take care of most of your problems with Homeopathy. Still you won’t be able to do it in just one or two sessions. How fast you learn depends on who you happen to be. That’s why I want to do individual sessions with people and teach the same lessons many times with many different types of people.
By the way the antibiotics for H pylori involves three sets of antibiotics. I’ve watched the health of a person dear to me declined rapidly after taking that.
I was consulting a Japanese doctor using the insurance plan of a pharmaceutical group. I talked like I was a doctor or a medical person, and started attacking the treatment. He quickly told me that he thought that the treatment was a sham and a hard sell using cancer to scare people. Two minutes before he had been recommending that I take the treatment and then he was backing down very quickly.
I looked up the evaluations of the results of the treatment with the antibiotics, and I forget the exact numbers but I concluded that taking the treatment and ignoring it had the same possibilities for curing my stomach problems. I still have a weak stomach, but slowly many aspects of my cases are getting better and I am seeing the pattern. So I think eventually my digestive ability will improve. Of course I’m using Homeopathy. Certainly three rounds of antibiotics would not have improved my general condition.
Best,
Ellen
