I just watchedagain the 2012 documentary Genetic Roulette. There was a segment on GMOs and food allergies such as peanuts.

Removing GMOs completely from the diet, working with probiotics, it was possible to reintroduce the allergenic food successfully back into the diet.

While some of the information has been augmented and updated, the film is still a pretty good one to watch. It is free online on Youtube.

I recommend taking the time to watch it.
