curious robot delusion

I have now heard from more than one person (maybe even 3), about an early wondering by a child whether their parents were robots.

These “children” were all about the same age and are now young adults.

Have any of you heard this also? What did you make of it? Do you think there may be some generational influence from some sort of media or …?
