If you will send your location, maybe you can find a homeopath near you who
can help.

Homeopathy cannot be practiced on the basis of attempting to control tiny
specific allopathic diagnoses.

I have one cured case of renal failure, and there are many others in our
literature.

The way to cure is the same (NOT the same remedy, but the same process and
practice... take complete case, do good homeopathy..)

Take a look at

REMEDY NAME:SERUM ANGUILLAR ICHTHYOTOXIN.
(Eel Serum)

However naturally the best way forward is with constitutional prescribing.

Dear Dave,
Please note that I did not suggest the remedy but said "take a look at....".
I presumed that the poster is a homeopath since the post talked about Calc
1M being given and therefore I also presumed that the poster would "take a
look "and thereby see if the symptoms match with those of the patient.

There is a following that believes that homeopathic remedies don't suppress
but just palliate. If palliation in some cases means prolonging good quality
life then I'm all for it!! Obviously the answer is a properly matched
constitutional but maybe the one for every case hasn't been proved yet!!;-)

Hi Rochelle,

The phrase "properly matched constitutional" could be a little confusing or
misleading, as "constitutional" prescribing has no coherent meaning across
the spectrum of homeopathic practitioners, clients, or other interested
parties.

People who don't believe that remedies can suppress (*homeopathic* remedies
will obviously move toward *cure* as opposed to suppress) fall into one or
more of these categories

1. those who have either not read or not understood foundational homeopathic
literature

2. those who may be unable to perceive, through lack of educational
background, clinical experience, or both... the concept of or the concrete
evidence of .. homeopathic suppression.

Obviously, in end-stage pathology (which certainly would include concurrent
chronic and acute renal failure) .. the criteria for evaluating risk of
suppression vs. desireability of true palliation (as opposed to the
potential for short-lived change in a particular severe symptom, accompanied
by aggravated decline in vitality &/or new & troublesome symptoms .. caused
by wrong remedy) shifts dramatically toward "try something that may work" ..
but this is NOT a time to abandon the practice of analyzing the case in
depth, and selecting remedy appropriate based on homeopathicity with regard
to complete symptoms (location, sensation, modification [modalities] and
concommitants)...

Whether you understand this, or the original poster does.. is not my major
concern or reason for this or the last post; it seemed to me that both the
original post and your answer could be too easily misinterpreted.

Hi all,

Did someone mention a remedy that had been helpful in a renal failure case recently? Maybe Dale, as she has a lot of experience in this area? (I have done an archive search and didn't find anything. I think it was about lowering the creatinine level????)

My almost 19 yr. old, male feline has been vet diagnosed and really isn't feeling good. He is on Ringers IV fluids, anti-nausea meds and special diet.

He was doing well yesterday and I encouraged him to eat, probably too much food and he has been not doing well since. (Probably over feeding for his condition?)

Am researching quality high protein, in small amounts, like range free chicken heart or egg white. Any suggestions welcome..........

Hi Maria,

Is there a source in the States? (Not listed on Hahnemann Labs or Natural Health.)

Call Hahnemann as sometimes they have remedies not listed online.

Also check Helios. They can expedite delivery altho it does cost a lot

I was able to get it from here last year. They do have interesting delivery charges, i.e. basic delivery may take up to 2 weeks, and expedited is a bit pricey.
