neuropathy

Post by Maria Bohle »

Has anyone had success with this situation? Both from diabetes or other causes.
No do not have a patient but am curious. Saw a medicine for pain on TV and got to thinking about it.

Yes.
I had it from diabetes as a side effect of Cushings.
It needs
* a very low carb (no sugar or sweeteners or root veg or cereal or legumes) anti-inflammatory diet
* green smoothie without fruit daily (EG DANDELION, GINGER CUBES, INDIAN HOT CURRY, EGG, MILK, ICE)
* plus 100 IU Vit E per day without fail
* plus 6 caps fish oil per day withotu fail
* plus NOTHING with added salt EVER
* plus a maintained potassium level NEVER below 4.4.
I still have a little insensitivity to temperature so must be careful not to burn myself in the shower - insensitive from above the knee down but the neuropathy discomfort, pain etc is otherwise all gone. I cannot remove the maintining cause in my case so must stick to the above regime. Sugary stuff does the MOST harm if I mess up. It does the harm (or the symptoms of it) about three days after eating sugar like a candy bar, and takes up to two weeks to fix, unless I pull put all the stops on my ermergency list including various herbs and enough sleep, hi ascorbic acid, to fix it sooner.

Namaste,
Irene
