tetanus?

Post by Sherill »

Can anybody give me a quick rundown to the pros and cons of a tetanus shot after a cut of unknown prigin – walking barefoot in grassy, woody area of an individual’s property. North Carolina, USA. No farm animals.

Tetanus is extremely rare these days. Vaccines are worthless and don't work. The adjuvants put into vaccines damage the brain and weaken the immune system. Serums for certain conditions can be effective but their mechanism is different.

IV Vitamin C should clear it up in the rare event you get sick. Carmi hazen

1. NO vaccine gives immunity ever including tetanus vax
2. You don't have immunity after having tetanus illness, so how could you have immunity from a vaccine, even if vaccines did work
3. Allow the wound to bleed and be open to air and clean out well
4. There is no single tetanus vax in the US anymore - they have DT (diph & tet) and Tdap (tetanus, diph and pertussis) (this is what is mostly used in ERs, etc)
5. If haven't ever had a tetanus vax or its been a long time - 'their' protocol is tetanus immunglobulin for immediate antibodies - but that is pooled blood of vaccinated.
6. so very very rare

http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/mm6012a1.htm 233 tetanus cases were reported during 2001--2008 - that is 8 years = less than 30 per year
In elderly and drug addicts and immune compromised
30 cases per year in the whole of the US

Sheri and Tami,
Thanks for your quick responses. I am absolutely on board with everything you say. I was in a momentary panic as my daughter is cross country with a nasty looking gash. Since I can’t be there to evaluate and change remedies quickly, if needed, I wanted to get confirmation of my thinking. Of course she is being pressured to get the vac and she is standing strong on her own. We all know what a tough sell that can be for a lay person…

I’d certainly hope your daughter has access to appropriate acute remedies for this, such as Calendula, Hypericum, Ledum, Staphysagria, etc. depending on the exact nature of the wound and its healing. The appropriate remedy will not only speed healing but obviate pain and infection, summoning up all the body’s proper responses. Can you advise her on their use from a distance?

In 1983 - before I knew anything about homeopathy - I had fallen into a very dirty water and scraped my shin.

Went for the jab.

The needle went in and for at least a minute (I kid you not) I felt nothing being injected - so I asked the chap and he said I will tell you shortly.

After another fairly long time, I felt the injection being applied.
As I was getting dressed, he said "The reason is that the tetanus jab can cause anaphylactic shock. There is enough on the needle to cause a local reaction - so I put the needle in, wait about 2 minutes and if there is no reaction, I proceed."
I thanked him, but that was the last shot I had!
Rgds
