Probably it's fine, but -- what's the brand, and are they the hard round balls, or are they the squishable tablets?

For cell salt use it's preferred to use the triturated type, which are in form of lactose tablets (or in liquid), whereas a remedy prepared for the more standard use in homeopathy might be prepared a little differently.

Can you tell which you've got?

cell salts are homeopathic remedies and Hylands, in my experience, are soft tablets.

I don't know what you mean by 1 2 3 up to 12

lactose is the softer melt in you mouth type
I don't know what the rest is................

ok yes but the thing is on the bottle it does not say cell salt or tissue salt, it says homeopathic remedy
so did I buy the correct thing

cell salts are low potency homeopathic remedies.
I don't use them at all, so can't answer more than that
