An angel on each shoulder....

I was present while a paranormal expert was reading a client who felt there
was a presence in his body attacking him. He mentioned that he felt like there
was an angel on each shoulder, one telling him to do bad and one telling him
to do good. I almost fell out of my chair.

I started looking up other symptoms that he expressed and while I haven't
looked in the materia medicas yet...anacardium was not in any of them. I
thought it was significant that he thought these physical symptoms were coming
from something outside himself and did not belong to him which comes with the
"sense of duality" but also with another rubric of "as if it were not his
own"... if I'm reading that rubric correctly. He is particularly worried about
his salvation and prays a lot. He started seeing lots of ghosts around in
public places. There is a lot of shame about his sexual thoughts. This all
started when he and his wife almost got divorced. I was thinking of lil-t and
lach and a few others. But I sure wanted to just give him a dose of anac...not
that I'll ever see the person again. He came from 3 hours away to have this
reading.

He did say one thing I don't understand...can't find a rubric...a feeling that
thousands of little red ants were attacking his body.

From Allen’s Therapeutics of Skin (I think that is the title that is abbreviated) in Reference Works I found this one statement under Anacardium:

“Subjective - Formication and itching, as of ants; great burning of the skin…”
And the search in RW for Formication in the same sentence as ants (23): aconin., 2alum., anac., anan., bar-c., calc., 2cist., diosp-k., dulc., gink., ign., kreos., m-arct., mag-c., pall., ph-ac., phos., 3Pic-ac., psor., sec., sil., sulph., 3Zinc.
