Too good to keep quiet

Post by Dale Moss »

Some time back in late May or early June I injured my knee. Not sure how, but after a few days of treating it with indicated remedies and getting little in the way of results, I realized I was developing Lyme (4th time around, so I know the symptoms; but I was tested to make sure).
By now the knee was hugely swollen, as was my leg and foot, and exquisitely painful. Plus there were all the wandering, fugitive Lyme pains. Nothing fugitive about the knee pain, however.
The Lyme was treated, and the knee was gently eased back into alignment. But the knee pain continued, often sharp, but usually like a toothache. The joint was terribly stiff: could not drive, could not get into or out of a car without manipulating the joint, which hurt a lot. Climbing or descending stairs was out of the question unless I did it very, very slowly, never bending the affected leg. Ice and compression, which had helped during the Lyme, did nothing.
Now, I live on a farm, and it's hard to feed the animals when you're on crutches. Even harder to plant. My poor husband was having to do my chores as well as his.
I deduced that I probably had chondromalacia, or damage to the knee cartilage from the dislocation of the joint. One of the tell-tale signs is pain and restlessness while sitting, but attempting to get up is hell -- not only from the pain, but from extreme weakness of the joint, as if it were about to collapse.
At any rate, the latest issue of Homeopathy Today reported on some experiments with tissue salts, one of which involved chondromalacia. After being on the regimen 24 hours, I cannot believe the difference! My knee feels closer to normal than it has in weeks, and the range of motion has increased greatly. Even better, my energy is back (possibly from being pain-free for the first time).
The regimen is simple: 3 pellets each of Calc-fl., Calc-phos., and Silica, 3 times a day. Reduce to 2 times a day as you start to improve. And improvement can show in as little as 24 hours.
Chondromalacia is usually something that bothers young athletes who may be wearing improper foot gear or who stress their bodies too much. It's been decades since I could call myself "young," and I never was an athlete back then. But I'm a hiker now (which is probably how I injured my leg), and knee problems make up large portion of my hiking group's complaints. Quite a few knee replacements in this group. Now I trust I needn't be one of them.
Peace,
Dale
