I'm getting to that age where...

weird little things crop up now and then. A few months ago I felt a gentle
kind of snap in my thumb. Now it hurts now and then ...I've tried to notice if
there is a diference when I have a potato here and there and it does seem to
get worse but I'm not sure. It comes and goes. It looks different from my
other thumb in that the vein is sticking out in the knuckle of the thumb
furthest from the nail. Blue. Can anyone tell me what that could mean?
