l. People like Dana write the Huffington Post with the headline: "To the wives
of all male senators" and appeal to them to talk their husbands out of voting
for that bill.
2. Write letters directly to the wives, though I don't know how you'd get
their addresses.
3. Someone do a youtube video directed to wives...OR request some famous
Hollywood type who uses homeopathy to do a video.
4. Write individual letters to the editors of your hometown with the same
request.

For what it’s worth: Some say there’s a law of attraction saying you
attract what you focus on (both ‘good’ and ‘bad’). Focus on fighting -
you attract 'fighting stuff'. Focus on something positive – you attract
something positive (like *promoting* homeopathy..). Be careful about
your thoughts and feelings.
As they say, there's only a switch to switch on the light, there's no
switch to switch on the dark.

Nice point, Hennie.
In my observation and understanding, focus on the positive brings in more positive response; and the assumptions we make about people's motives and responses are so often self-fulfilling.

I point out that "so often" does not necessarily mean always. Some people really do have bad intentions, and we have to distinguish between them and the people we simply disagree with or who we don't understand. This is probably why most of my relationships are via email, since I am not very good at making these distinctions.
