Further to the e-mails about taking our remedies abroad, Homeopathy Plus recently reported on research into the effect of potentised thyroxine on tadpoles. The scientists also decided to check the effects of different electromagnetic fields ( radiation from mobile phones, airport X-rays, red light barcode scanners and microwave ovens) on the remedies.
The results showed it is safe for our remedies to be X-rayed at airports, and scanned by red-light barcode scanners but the radiation from a mobile phone 25 cm away and the leakage from early model microwave ovens destroyed the energetic nature of the potentised thyroxine. Apparently the researchers did not look at the effects of more modern microwave ovens.
Experience seems to prove that this is correct and airport X-rays do not affect homeopathic remedies but mobile phones and remedies need to be kept apart.
