More Off Topic Discussion: Vaccines and Daily Kos!

Tanya, I too am a member of dailykos.com . One day I posted an anti-vax comment on the site. When I went back the next time they wouldn't let me into the site without reading some #$%^ that I had been warned about posting that information and warned that I would be banned if it happened again! I was shocked.

I want to start something there because I am totally disgusted with the "progressive stupid" about vaccines. I read a recent blog and had to FORCE myself not to post. I don't mind being banned, but then I have no personal knowledge about what's going on there and no opportunity to reach out to sane Kossacks outside of the blog! I've been a member for years and years, but rarely go there anymore because I no longer find that politics is the answer to any kind of problem that exists in the world today. Democrats are = to Republicans in every way.

The biggest threat to the world today is the MIC and the total control that the fossil fuel and healthcare industries hold on uneducated Americans and our British friends, but the Kossacks love Obamacare! So I read and basically shut up.

Well here I am, a fellow compatriot on this issue. I was banned from commenting on Natural News about 18 months ago
when I was sick and tired of Mike Adams inserting his racist hostility towards Obama into every single article he wrote.
So I counter criticized him regularly—always respectfully. One day I was locked out of the comments. When I played
dumb and wrote to the site I was told there was no problem with my access but the problem was never resolved. So
essentially they are liars as well as medical goons.

Daily Kos really surprised me as they portend to be politically progressive. But Alternet and Portside also post these
pro-vaccine articles now on a very regular basis. Portside has no comment section and Alternet commentary is full
of trolls and emotional denialists that do nothing but scream invectives and attack those who question medical “wisdom.”

I see this process as the drug corporation, and maybe even govt a reflexion of organized propaganda aimed at those
who see themselves as liberal—progressive. It is a non-stop assault on the mind under the pretext of providing
progressive views.

It makes me sick to read this stuff and I often don’t want to respond but do so anytway to insure that some readers
hear counter information. I have no expectation to alter the trolls.

I do follow the Alliance for Natural Health/USA as they seem consistent on Freedom Health Access issues altho
they dont focus on homeopathy
