Blood Clots DVT - Dr Roz?

Post by Rochelle Marsden »

Patient initially came with swollen ankle which wouldn’t go down or night since January. (I treated him constitutionally with Hydrogen 1M with no success on the ankle but helped other things) After months of me telling him to go back to the doctor yet again after he was just given support stockings which still didn’t work he went back and said his thigh ached. Doctor then sent him for an MRI scan which showed one old large clot on the “wall of his vein” and other clots. Then I realised that he has returned from Thailand (long haul flight) and this will have been DVT!! He has been put on daily injections of 120mg Clexane Enoxaparin Sodium for 3 months. As this an anti-coagulant I don’t want to put him on Ginkgo herbal which would have been my first choice to dissolve the clot. So does anyone know of a remedy which would dissolve the clots .
I wonder if his doctor knows that he is flying back to Thailand at the end of the month? I have told him to ask his doctor for a medical certificate because otherwise he will not be allowed to take his syringe on board!!!
Thanks

Was that a new or old clot as this is now an old one rather than newly formed?

Nattokinase would help, but I would be very reluctant to use it while on Clexane, I have not read anything about interactions.

Problem with old clots is they scar up and blockage becomes permanent.

It is an enzyme derived from Natto, a form of Japanese fermented soya.

Very effective at keeping the blood in a state where abnormal coagulation does not happen while not preventing clotting in cases where it is needed, like cuts and trauma, although takes a bit more time.

I would not use it in an acute situation....maybe I am wrong but I have no experience with it in those cases.
