Thanks, Renato! He is right. Very well-written and thoughtful! Not much else need be said, except to add that of course this concept of disease is the basis of homeopathy as well. Homeopathy simply works to retune and arouse the disturbed functions within the body that protect us, that clean up toxins and render disease a non-issue.

There is lots more to read on this. I often recommend the book SomaWisdom, by Trevor Gunn, a microbiologist who "gets it" about what goes on in there.
