Gingko for memory problems

My mother was taking Ginko in 1992 for a year and developed a great pain in
her big toe(reflexology...the brain)...she quit taking the ginko and within
the year she got alzheimers. Years later I read that Ginko was not a good idea
for alzheimers because it speeded up the circulation in an already diseased
brain. Whether she would have gotten better by continuing the gingko and
having the brain issue resolved through the toe instead of the brain....we'll
never know.
