Magnesium, boron, and water

Post by Roger B »

If we isolate all factors of causation like good little reductionist (the whole is equal to the sum of it's parts) scientists, then we might add magnesium to our diet, check to see if things got better, and if they didn't, just say heck and toss the magnesium. Then we could do the same with boron. Then extra water. But, you see, I am more than the sum of my parts, and living systems are way more complicated than such a simplistic model for testing. Anything that enhances enzymes in the body is necessary. I have been going great guns with painting myself with magnesium chloride "oil" for about a week now (http://drsircus.com/medicine/magnesium/), and doing boron ( http://educate-yourself.org/cn/boraxcon ... ul12.shtml ) , and drinking "extra" water ( http://www.watercure.com/ )

And I feel SO much better. My pinched nerve keeps getting better and better. Homeopathy got me started in the right direction, but without adequate nutrition homeopathy can't work.

Now, boron is funny. The recommended dosage is 10 milligrams twice per day. So, I calculate that buying one box of Twenty Mule Team Borax will supply me with two daily doses for the next 294 years, long after my great-grandchildren have been completely forgotten and I will have reincarnated numerous times. Such a box costs about $3.50, so it is costing me roughly 1.1 pennies per YEAR. (:->) And magnesium as in magnesium chloride flakes are also very cheap, but not even close to boron's cheapness. And water is free.

Sodium tetraborate in the 10 mg. per teaspoon dose has barely any taste and that taste is pleasant.

Magnesium is an essential nutrient and any old person and any person under a lot of stress (that means you Nennette) needs to supplement with magnesium, and I can testify of my own experience, not just theory, that magnesium is wonderful.

Since extra water brought about a renewal of my thirst, I can say of my own experience that extra water is important.

Boron, I can't say of my own experience that is has done anything, but since I still have 293.9 years to go before I use up the box, I will stick with it. (:->) Little joke. No, since the magnesium and the water work so well, I am going to stick with the boron because it is all part of the same theory.

Sincerely,

Roger Bird
