This has been a fascinating thread. I have issues with polarity and I am often told to do grounding exercises such as massaging the gaits on my feet and going barefoot on the grass.

My question is- when people talk about hugging trees, do you mean literally hugging a tree - wrapping your arms around? Or is it a phrase used and literally you sit against it or touch it?

Also is there a recommended amount of time to walk on the grass barefoot? I'm a city girl and always nervous of stepping on something so I'll often just stand in place. I wonder if this is good enough

Thank you for clarifying

Deb :)

It has been reported that blood profiles show differences after 80 minutes of walking on the grass.

My interest in this thread and the questions I am asking are not that I have issues with electricity or EMF personally (at least not that I can pinpoint), but I use this technique when I treat patients with very "toxic" issues, deep-seated mental and emotional problems and especially when doing some physical manipulations on them.
Theoretically it allows the practitioner to remove whatever "bad energy", for lack of a better term, he/she has captured from the patient during the consultation and to cut energetic ties with said patient, eliminating "energetic vampirism".
Although very skeptical about this when I was first taught this method, I must say that I feel relieved and less tired after a consultation when I do it...placebo or reality, it does not matter as long as it helps.

I also teach this to patients when they are kind of "disconnected" with reality, unable to "see" clearly, to "focus" on themselves.

And indeed I ask them (and do it myself) to really hug the tree, although holding a branch is apparently good enough, after having talked to the tree and asked for its help....I still feel weird writing that sentence, but I have experienced results, so......

Joe.

I keep certain crystals on my table in a bowl between the patient and me. That seems to do the trick!!

Hi Dr. Rozencwajg
Check book CHI NEI TSANG by Mantak & Maneewan Chia. Page 91 explain choosing tree and how to use tree healing energy.

Yes, I read that book a few years ago as part of visceral manipulation training, basically using the same system but very much simplified....

Thanks,

Joe.

This is what I have done. I stand up straight and breath imagining my breath
going up and down my spine....and I say "I ground out any energy in this body
that does not belong to me" and when I exhale down my spine I imagine that
energy going down between my legs down into the floor, into the earth and to
the center of the earth. That is when I pick up other people's energy where
I've felt anxious or tired or whatever after being with a particular person. I
don't know if this would work with electro magnetic fields from the computer
or other machines...but I think I'll try it next time.
