fungus remedy?

Post by dontwurry »

Hello again. I had some helpful and much appreciated
advice from many of you, regarding my son's chronic cough.... I
recently had a naet practitioner (allergy elimination) determine that
the cause of his cough is SOME type of fungus. I was wondering if
anyone knew of a remedy that works well for this, aside from
constitutional prescribing, as we are having no results with that.

The cough is apparently (to me)a compulsive type tic, other obs/comp
symptoms present but cough is most detrimental and debilitating.
Next step is medication to control the tic, if homeo fails to help,
please advise soon. thank you Heide

Dear Heide, the right 'constitutional' remedy, i.e. the simillimum will cure
the cough as well. I would imagine that this has yet to be prescribed if
other aspects of your son's case are not being resolved. Easy said but you
have to find someone who will come up with the right remedy which covers the
totality of the case - then you will see a difference.

best wishes, Joy Lucas

It is probably less harmful to suppress the cough allopathically than to
suppress it Homeopathically.

Homeopathic CURE of this symptom (as opposed to suppression) will require
that a full case be taken in the "classical" / "Hahnemannian" manner (which
may or may not be what a given person means by "constitutional" prescribing.

Even *IF* the cough is actually associated with a fungus, the fungus is
*NOT* "the cause" - the cause is susceptibility to fungus; this is imho, an
indication of relatively severely compromised immune function; there are
fungal infections of the lung that can quickly lead to death.

Suggest you get appropriate medical diagnosis to rule out Aspergillosis or
other dangerous condition, make your own informed decision regarding
allopathic treatment, and if your homeopath is unable to elicit improvement
in "debilitating cough" - suggest you consider asking the homeopath (or
someone else) for a referral to another homeopath.
