totally Off topic - Now Sorted!!

Post by Rochelle »

Thanks all . I had actually done everything you lot suggested last night with no success so I took it in to my local repair place and Sorted!!
Only cost £35 so not bad. He reckoned it was because I had 4 anti-virus /firewalls on my system and he has downloaded Microsoft Security Essentials which is free. However he also uninstalled and reinstalled the network adapters which I had checked last night and I bet that was the real problem!!
OK so I had my phone but I couldn’t access for instance this group via the web because my phone wouldn’t let me do the stupid Captcha cold thingy when I put my Yahoo ID and password in!! I don’t have a super duper smart phone , just a basic one and there are things I can’t do.

Okay—your phone is not so smart after all (LOL).
And the firewall thing is such a standard statement from computer repair people.
I always ignore them on this. The network adapters and wireless connections seem
to get lost with frequency.
