Samuel Hahnemann

I am really fed up with all this criticism on homeopathy, especially when you consider the damage the medical establishment are responsible for. They have tried everything, haven't they, from it's a placebo to it's a con, it doesn't work, it's just sugar pills etc.etc. Now they have started on SH. Well, first of all, what do they mean "he's not qualified"? Not qualified in what? SH was a qualified doctor. He received the honourable title of Dr of Medicine in 1779, but he was disillusioned with the medical practice and said that people were worst off going to a doctor than had they not bothered. He sacrificed a lot giving up an established practice because it didn't work to look for something that did.
I suppose critics would say that back in those times doctors didn't have the knowledge that they now have. Well, bringing it more up to date, Luc De Schepper qualified as a doctor about 30 years ago. He, too, realised there had to be something better and after studying all aspects of alternative healing, believed homeopathy to be the best - and he hasn't looked back.
Also, SH in addition to studying Latin, Greek, Hebrew - and which he was able to speak fluently - studied history, physics and botany; his favourite study, though, was medical science.
For anyone who critictises SH, point them to the following link - http://www.homeoint.org/books4/bradford/index.htm
Here is one of the quotes "It was the effort of a single-minded and pure-hearted man to discover the truth in the manner that his father had long before taught him in this maxim:
" 'Never take anything for granted, nor receive anything in science as a truth until you have investigated it for yourself."
"During the year 1791, Hahnemann received honors from two important societies. He was elected a member of the Oekonomsche Gessellsehadt of Leipzig and also Fellow of the Academy of Sciences of Mayence.
"His discoveries in chemistry and his wonderful knowledge of medical subjects were attracting the attention of the scientific men of his time."
I think that speaks for itself.
In respect of religion, if that's the next step that critics will try to use to discredit SH and homeopathy, perhaps they should be pointed to the following link:
"Conclusion: Has science proven the existence of God?
If all this science is true, it would mean that science has proven the existence of a Creator (as well as intelligent design).

Finally, there is a saying: "First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you - and then you win."
