Just had an email from was going to be a new patient to say her consultant has advised her against homeopathy!!! She told me she was bipolar but was depressed and that is what she wanted treated.
This was my reply to her:-

Gee Rochelle, you might cure this person and then her consultant would not get his fees, the pharmaceutical company will not sell their drugs, and a cash resource would totally dry up.
But, it is ok to blast people with poisons, drug them into a stupor, put a siphon into their bank accounts and end any individuality and free thinking capacities they may have.
I am sorry, we all face that unfortunately.
On the other hand, if people knew how successful homeopathy can be you will never get out of your office.

A good one, and your last line the best to leave out there - though my experience with bipolar folks has me expecting their decision-making to be more fanatical than logical.
Chicken and egg problem.....
Even people with no such disadvantage in thinking, will be dissuaded from logical progress by allopathic toxin-mongering.
I especially sympathize tonight - my own potential client has every possibility of losing her sweet 3 or 4 month old kitten overnight from a drug unsuitable even for an adult cat (buprenex causes severe CNS depression)- but the vet decided to not just hydrate as requested but hospitalize and apply multiple drugs - then 4 hrs later calls client to say kitten seems to be dying and may not make it through the night. She was playing yesterday!
Sure wish hydration fluids did not need a prescription!
Now and then I do get the opposite though - where the owner refuses the drugs being heavily promoted. One successful approach I have is to show a photo of thymus tissue before and after a low dose of glucocorticoid steroid.
THAT OPENS EYES WIDE!
If you can somehow figure a way to put things in pictures?
Before/after homeopathy versus before/after drugs?
In hopes of more "eggs" (hatching new health), and less "chickens"!

Is she a rapid cycler, how often does she go between mania to depression?
Does she have more depression than mania? Usually that is more common
Does she have parents or relatives with bipolar, depression, etc?
What meds does she take? How long has she been taking?
What age was she diagnosed? Had first episode?
Bipolar depression is not treated the same as depression, allopathically, you don't give depression drugs for depression during bipolar which can cause mania, Anti-manic, anti-epileptic drugs are used, Tegretol, Depakote, Lithium and others. Many people need more than 1 drug to manage their condition.
There are lots of flavors to bipolar. If clearly inherited, then her constitutional remedy is required and the occasional antimiasmatic intercurrent helps further.
While I know you don't use LMs, much improvement happens with C potency, depending on her biplar condition, how many drugs, etc. , she may not need LMs. Actually, her similimum will force her to reduce or stop taking meds as progress is made. The drugs will begin to be too much.

During C potency I was able to go from 900mg to 300mg lithium. Then with LMs the past year, able to stop completely. That is quite remarkable and unheard of in psychiatry and only further proves the genius of Hahnemann!

Thanks – not a good week as another new patient phoned this morning to say she wouldn’t be able to make her appointment tomorrow morning but would phone and rearrange – if only!!! However I did have a new patient today who turned up who I will try to help. Have sorted out what remedy I think he needs but he is on so much medication+ steroids that I really don’t know if it will get through. Gave him a dry dose and also made up a Water potency to take daily . I am not one of those homeopaths who won’t prescribe if a patient is on allopathic medication as I have seen the good homeopathy can do under these circumstances. The up side of not having a patient in tomorrow morning is that I can go to my spin class as usual!!
